it all starts here!
The Hart Snow School has been independently owned and operated by instructors since 1986. Changing ownership in 2017 to our current snow school director. Our team of instructors offer group lessons, private coaching and special camps for all ages to learn and improve the skills of skiing and snowboarding. Our fun and relaxed atmosphere, along with the amazing venue of the Hart Ski Hill, gives you the ideal environment to excel on the mountain.
We operate at The Hart Highlands Winter Club in Prince George, BC. This unique not for profit hill offers the perfect terrain to hone your skills on one plank or two. The hill has three lifts, perfectly groomed terrain and the right slope for learning all levels of riding, from linking your first turns to landing a new trick.

Parent and Tot Learn to Ski Program
This 4 day program is designed for the Parent or Guardian who wants to have their youngster experience our wonderful sport at an early age. Children 32 months of age and up are welcome with their Parent or Guardian participating/skiing throughout the program.
Each child is different and will have more or less physical capacity and our experience suggests that 32 months is typically the stage where the child has sufficient dexterity to be able to enjoy the sliding experience and start to control speed and direction.
Class size will be 6 Children or fewer with each child having a participating Parent or Guardian. Children must have appropriate clothing for the weather conditions. Classes on days where the temperature is too cold will be rescheduled at a future date to ensure that the child has the best possible learning experience.
Classes are scheduled sporadically throughout the season
Class days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in the evenings
Includes:
*4 nights (Monday-Thurs) on select weeks (Parent-only on the first night)
1.5 hour lessons per night (parent only on first night)
Lift passes
Certified Level 2 instructor
Rental equipment for child and parent if you don’t have your own
Cost: $152.38 + Tax.
The participating Parent should ski at an intermediate level. This would be defined as being able to comfortably ski on a groomed blue run in complete control. It is not required that the Parent have perfect form but control is required. Be aware that on the first day our Instructor will teach you how to ski backwards in a controlled, slow decent. While this may seem intimidating our experience is that with some practice (30 minutes) it is an easy skill to develop.
